Arrival & Check-In Information
Thank you for choosing the Rosberg House Bed & Breakfast. We look forward to welcoming you and making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Check-In Hours
Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. If your room is ready, we are often happy to accommodate an earlier arrival when arranged in advance. Please contact us prior to your stay if you would like to request an early check-in.
To help us prepare for your arrival, you will receive a text message on the day of check-in requesting your estimated arrival time (ETA). We kindly ask that you arrive at your scheduled time or notify us if your plans change. The hours between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM are dedicated to guest room preparation, housekeeping, and property-related errands.
If you have not already provided your arrival time, please call or text 785-250-0508 with your estimated arrival time.

Late Arrivals & Self Check-In
Guests who prefer self check-in, as well as all guests arriving after 6:00 PM, will receive a text message with detailed self check-in instructions on the day of arrival. Our self check-in process is simple, convenient, and allows you to arrive at your leisure.

Parking & Luggage Unloading
For your convenience, we recommend parking in front of the house upon arrival to unload your luggage. Please enter through the front door for check-in. After you have checked in and settled into your room, you are welcome to move your vehicle to the parking area behind the house if you prefer.

Check out time?

The check-out time at is 11:00 A.M. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate late departures. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us prepare for our next guests and maintaining the high standard of service for all visitors. Question 3

What are the smoking policies?

Smoking is allowed outside only. Absolutely no smoking is allowed anywhere inside the premises. If anyone is found to have smoked inside, they will be charged an additional $200 for cleaning and will be asked to leave. As a bed and breakfast that prioritizes a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation in adhering to our smoking policies. Can I bring children to the Rosberg House?

Although we love children, the Rosberg House is a getaway for Adults only. Guests must be 18 years or older to stay at our Bed and Breakfast. Our serene and tranquil environment is tailored to provide a peaceful escape for our adult guests, ensuring a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Can I bring pets to The Rosberg House?

The Rosberg House is a pet-free establishment. We kindly ask that you make prior arrangements for your pets. We strive to provide a tranquil and allergen-free environment for all of our guests, and as such, we do not allow pets on the premises. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests.

The use the outdoor pool?

Pool Update: Our pool is now open and ready for the 2026 season.

Yes, guests at The Rosberg House are welcome to use the outdoor pool, which is open approximately from  May to September. Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty, so swimming is at your own risk. The pool is not heated, and we ask that guests use the towels provided specifically for the pool, and not the room towels. Additionally, the use of the pool is reserved for paying guests only. We hope you enjoy your relaxing stay with us!

What are the breakfast serving hours?

At Rosberg House, breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. Our breakfast menu includes freshly prepared dishes using locally sourced ingredients, and we cater to dietary restrictions  with advance notice. Our goal is to provide a delicious breakfast experience that sets the tone for an enjoyable day for our guests.

What are the maximum occupancy?

The maximum occupancy for renting as a Vacation Rental is 10  people. All bed and breakfast rates are based on double occupancy, with an additional charge of $25  We strive to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests, and these policies help us maintain that standard.

Do you provide viewing of live sports events or cable TV?

Accepted Answer

No, we don't have or provide either live sports apps or cable TV.  
However, guests are welcome to bring their own devices or passwords to apps to stream their sports events using our complimentary Wi-Fi.
For those looking to enjoy live sports in a more social setting, we recommend visiting the local bar the Ol' Stuga, which offers a lively atmosphere and broadcasts a wide range of sporting events.

How can I make a reservation?

You can make your room reservation directly from our website by clicking on the "Book Now" button and following the prompts. Payment is required at the time of Booking.  Alternatively, you can call us at 785-250-0508 to make a reservation.  Any special offers will only be available on our site. Additionally, when you have a question or concern, you are talking directly to us, ensuring personalized and efficient service. For Vacation Rental, please note that bookings are only accepted only over the phone. We strive to provide a seamless and hassle-free booking experience for all our guests.
